Dave Miller
Dave is a composer, songwriter and performer, currently working towards a BMus degree at the University of Auckland School of Music, with a major in composition.
Dave has a special interest in musical theatre. He plays drums, guitar, piano, saxophone and recorder. Dave also has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cape Town. His work in the field of digital communications has earned him fifteen U.S. Patents.
Dave was awarded a Lilburn Trust Composition Award (second place) in 2012 from the University of Auckland for Too de Vaar. The performance also earned a shared prize for the two performers, Celeste Oram and Angela Kong.
