Dolan Cox
Dolan Cox is a Sir Edmund Hillary Scholar at the University of Waikato. He began playing piano when he was ten, and has since performed throughout New Zealand. In 2013, Dolan was awarded the Lili Kraus Piano Award and placed second in the prestigious Sydney Eisteddfod/Musica Viva Chamber Competition in Australia, as a member of the Contrasts Trio. He completed his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance under Katherine Austin.
Dolan was the recipient of a merit award for his composition Improvisations on a Tone Row by Alban Berg for solo violin at the 2014 University of Waikato Lilburn Trust Student Composition Awards
