Kihoon Sung
Kihoon Sung is a composer who is studying in the University of Auckland. He is currently studying a conjoint degree with BMus (composition) and BSci (chemistry), and aiming towards BMus (Hons) in 2022.
Kihoon has several pieces that were performed, such as the Auckland Youth Orchestra Composition Competition in 2019, where his orchestral work, Niflheim was performed. His most recent interests are composing works with themes based on chemistry concepts.
Kihoon was awarded a highly commended with his most recent work, 6.022 × 10²³ for bass guitar and live electronics in 2020.
