Robert Bryce
Robert Bryce has been studying with the mentorship of Reuben de Lautour and Mark Menzies towards a Master of Music in Composition at the University of Canterbury.
Compositionally, Robert focuses on a minimal approach by balancing simplicity and elegance. This combined with naming all his pieces in Gàidhlig (Scots Gaelic) and as Gaeilge (Irish) to bring attention to the languages. Outside of composition Robert learns and promotes these languages and works as a high school music teacher.
